Just about every major player is selling GNU/Linux machines although they can be hard to find at times unless you know where to look. Before you purchase other accessories & peripherals check to make sure the manufacturer provides open source drivers.

These companies sell computers with a GNU/Linux distribution installed, have certification for a GNU/Linux distribution you can install yourself, or at minimal don't sell you a Microsoft Windows License.

Lenovo (formerly IBM) - No operating system, certified for Novell SUSE
System76 - Computers come with Ubuntu Linux
Emperor Linux - Computers come with a distribution you select they support
HP - Come with no operating system- certifications for certain computers with certain distributions
IBEXPC - Select from a number of distributions
Dell - Red Hat, Ubuntu or no OS
